LAS VEGAS — Samsung Electronics has announced it will showcase a new suite of home appliances at CES 2026, held from January 6-9, focusing on a “seamless synergy” between devices to provide AI-powered customized care. The upcoming lineup features significant upgrades to the Bespoke AI series, including the Laundry Combo, AirDresser, WindFree Pro Air Conditioner, and the Jet Bot Steam Ultra robot vacuum.

Smarter Fabric Care and Automation

The 2026 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo introduces hardware improvements like the Booster Heat Exchanger to enhance drying performance and a Super Speed cycle that utilizes high-pressure sprays to shorten wash-to-dry times. Its intelligence is driven by AI Wash & Dry+, which employs sensors to identify five different fabric types, monitor soil levels in real-time, and calculate the exact water and detergent needed based on load weight.

To further automate garment care, Samsung has integrated Auto Cycle Link, a feature that allows the Laundry Combo to communicate directly with the Bespoke AI AirDresser. When a user selects a specific cycle on the washer, such as a “Blouse Cycle,” the AirDresser automatically queues the matching drying or steam course to ensure a continuous workflow.

Tailored Climate and Energy Efficiency

In the realm of climate control, the new Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner features Triple Motion Wings that enable seven distinct wind modes, including a “Max Wind” mode that cools rooms 15% faster than conventional models. The unit uses radar-based AI to sense user presence, automatically directing airflow toward or away from people to maximize comfort. Additionally, the AI Energy Mode monitors usage behavior and external environmental conditions to minimize compressor fluctuations, potentially reducing energy consumption by up to 30%.

Next-Generation Autonomous Cleaning

Samsung is also elevating floor care with the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra. Powered by a Qualcomm Dragonwing processor, the vacuum uses deep learning-based AI Object Recognition to detect and avoid humans, pets, and thin obstacles like cables or rugs. A new AI Liquid Recognition feature allows the robot to identify spills and decide whether to clean them or avoid them based on the user’s predefined preferences.

A Vision for the Future of Home Living

According to Jeong Seung Moon, EVP and Head of the R&D Team for the Digital Appliances Business, these innovations are the result of “leveraging the R&D expertise we have accumulated over the years” and integrating direct customer feedback. The goal of the 2026 lineup is to transform how users interact with their appliances by reducing manual intervention and increasing efficiency.

To visualize this integration, you can think of Samsung’s new AI ecosystem as a relay race team; instead of each appliance running its own isolated race, they “pass the baton” to one another—the washer tells the dryer what’s coming, and the air conditioner adjusts its pace based on who is in the room—ensuring the entire household runs at peak performance without the user having to coach every move.
