Clean House is a free editorial and advisory service that helps Delhi residents report financial corruption and civic negligence in housing societies and DDA flats. To receive public advocacy or investigative media support, residents must formally submit their grievances through the service’s mandatory online complaint form.

🏠 What Is Clean House?

Launched in 2017 by journalist Rakesh Raman, Clean House is a free editorial and advisory public service that empowers residents of Delhi to report corruption and government carelessness affecting their housing and civic life.

In 2025, the service was expanded to include not just Cooperative Group Housing Societies (CGHSs) but also:

  • 🏢 Delhi Development Authority (DDA) Flats
  • 🏘️ Jhuggi Jhopri (J.J.) Colonies and Unauthorized Colonies
  • 🏠 Resettlement Colonies and Urban Villages

The service now addresses both financial corruption and carelessness or negligence by government departments and officials.

📣 What You Can Report

Clean House invites you to report:

  • Corrupt practices in housing societies or civic departments
  • Negligence or misconduct by government bodies like:
    • Delhi Jal Board (DJB)
    • Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD)
    • Delhi Development Authority (DDA)
  • Irregularities in public housing schemes
  • Misuse of authority or funds by:
    • Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) in DDA flats
    • Management Committees (MCs) in CGHSs, which are regulated by the Registrar Cooperative Societies (RCS) of the Delhi Government
  • Poor civic services: water supply, sanitation, roads, electricity, garbage, etc.

The RMN Consumer Rights Network (CRN) and its Clean House service cannot handle cases over the phone.

👉 To receive help, it is mandatory to submit your complaint through the online form:

Only after reviewing the submitted details will CRN / Clean House decide on further action and contact you if necessary.

⚠️ Please do not call directly for assistance. Complaints without a proper written submission will not be considered.

👉 Please fill out the form below with your name, address, email, mobile / WhatsApp number, and a brief summary of your complaint (up to 500 words).
📌 If your case is relevant, you will be contacted for further information.

🔍 What Happens After You Report

Once your report is received, we:

  • Review the case for factual accuracy and public interest
  • Get more information and / or related documents from the complainant
  • Issue a formal notice to the MC of the housing society against which you have filed the complaint with copies to authorities such as DDA, RCS, Delhi Police, MCD, etc. [ Reference Link ]
  • Publish a written article or investigative report on the RMN News site  [ Reference Link ]
  • Create Hindi video reports on the RMN YouTube Channel to help local residents understand the issue
  • Raise awareness and demand accountability from the responsible authorities
  • Guide you to file RTI (Right to Information) applications or submit complaints to the appropriate bodies
