The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is currently preparing for the release of the Class 10 and 12 board exam results for 2025. A large number of students, more than 42 lakh, appeared for these exams which were conducted between February 15 and April 4, 2025.
Based on trends from previous years, the results for both classes are likely to be declared together around the second week of May.
Once declared, students will have multiple platforms to check their scorecards. These include:
- The official CBSE website: cbse.gov.in
- DigiLocker
- The UMANG app
- A special IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System)
In technical collaboration with National e-Governance Division (NeGD), CBSE has for several years been opening DigiLocker accounts in advance for Class X and XII students. This is done to facilitate access to digital academic documents such as Mark Sheet cum Certificates and Migration Certificates immediately after the result declaration through CBSE’s digital academic repository, “Parinam Manjusha”.
To enhance the security and privacy of students’ data, CBSE introduced a six-digit Access Code based activation for students’ DigiLocker accounts. After activating their accounts using this code, students can access their Digital Academic Documents under the ‘Issued Documents’ section.
The student-wise Access Code file is being made available to schools in their own DigiLocker accounts. From here, schools can download and disseminate the Access Code to individual students. With a circular issued by CBSE on May 5, 2025, CBSE has explained the process for obtaining the Access Code for Digilocker accounts. Schools can follow specific steps provided to download this file.
The Board Exam-2025 result is currently “under preparation” and is expected to be declared “soon”.
