YRF’s ‘Saiyaara’ Title Track Released, Mohit Suri Unveils Passion Project Album Ahead of July 18, 2025 Release

Mumbai, India – Yash Raj Films (YRF) has released the highly anticipated title track for their upcoming romantic Bollywood film, ‘Saiyaara‘. Directed by Mohit Suri, who is known for creating timeless love stories, the film is set to be released in theatres worldwide on July 18, 2025.
‘Saiyaara’ is being hailed as the most anticipated romantic film of 2025. Following the teaser release, the film has garnered unanimous praise for presenting an intense love story featuring debutants with infectious chemistry. The movie introduces Ahaan Panday as the hero to the Hindi film industry, alongside Aneet Padda, who previously impressed audiences with her performance in the series Big Girls Don’t Cry, as the female lead. The film is produced by YRF’s CEO, Akshaye Widhani.
Director Mohit Suri revealed that the film’s album is a deeply personal project. He shared that the ‘Saiyaara’ album comprises “songs, thoughts and melodies” that he has meticulously “collected and curated for over 5 years!”. Suri likened his passion for collecting melodies and songs to how others collect books, stating that he loves meeting new composers and singers.

Suri expressed his desire to offer audiences a “supremely fresh album with beautiful, soulful melodies”. He added that creating a fresh romantic album for a debutant film was important to him, and every song on the album feels particularly special.
The recently released title track, ‘Saiyaara’, holds significant meaning for Suri. He commented that he “fell in love with it instantly” due to the amount of love, longing, and heart within the song. The release of the title track also serves as a launchpad for two talented musical artistes from Kashmir, Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami, introducing them to Bollywood.
Suri credited composer Tanishk Bagchi for facilitating his meeting with Faheem and Arslan. The beautiful lyrics for the track were penned by maestro Irshad Kamil. Suri hopes that this initial song release is just the beginning of a line-up featuring incredibly talented artists and that it will provide everyone with a romantic song to remember for a long time.
