RMN News Fights Housing Corruption with ‘Clean House’ in Delhi
Quick Summary
- RMN News expands its “Clean House” service in 2025 to cover housing corruption and civic neglect in Delhi.
- Residents of DDA flats, CGHS, and other colonies can now report mismanagement through this editorial and advisory service.
New Delhi, April 2025: In a significant move to support residents of Delhi, RMN News has launched an expanded version of its Clean House service — an editorial and advisory platform that helps citizens report corruption and government negligence related to housing and civic services.
First introduced in 2017, Clean House was initially focused on problems faced by residents of Cooperative Group Housing Societies (CGHSs) in Delhi. These societies are managed by Management Committees (MCs) and are governed by the Registrar Cooperative Societies (RCS) department of the Delhi Government. Over time, growing complaints and civic challenges prompted the need to broaden the scope of the service.
Now, in 2025, the Clean House initiative has been formally extended to include a wider range of residential areas — such as Delhi Development Authority (DDA) flats, J.J. Colonies, and even unregulated housing clusters where residents lack basic municipal services or face systemic corruption.
Citizen Support for Local Housing Issues
The Clean House service enables people to raise their voice against:
- Unauthorized or illegal construction
- Floor Area Ratio (FAR) violations
- Corrupt practices by RWAs or MCs
- Water, sewage, and infrastructure issues
- Harassment by builders or local authorities
- Indifference by municipal bodies or departments
Residents can now easily submit a report through a contact form provided on the RMN News website. The form captures essential details such as name, address, contact information, and a brief summary of the issue (up to 500 words). If a case seems genuine and in the public interest, RMN News may investigate and publish an article or editorial report on the matter.

The goal of this platform is to empower local communities and offer them a credible media channel to expose civic failures and hold public authorities accountable.
Independent Journalism with Public Purpose
“The idea behind Clean House has always been to provide a non-political, editorially independent, and people-driven platform to highlight housing-related issues,” said Rakesh Raman, the founder of RMN News and creator of the initiative.
This service does not provide legal or government support but works as a journalistic and public awareness mechanism to create informed discourse around issues affecting residential communities in Delhi.
The editorial team behind Clean House ensures that every complaint is handled with due diligence. Selected cases that carry broader public relevance may be featured as news reports or in-depth editorials to bring wider attention and institutional pressure for corrective action.
How to Submit a Complaint
Residents who wish to report a case of corruption, construction crime, or negligence in their housing area can now do so directly through the official Clean House page.
