Fresh visual evidence, including never-before-seen photos from Donald Trump’s 1993 wedding and video from a 1999 Victoria’s Secret fashion show, has surfaced, intensifying public and political focus on Trump’s historical association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. These new visuals complement existing information about their long-standing relationship, which dates back to the 1980s.
The most notable revelation is a previously unseen photo from Trump’s 1993 wedding to Marla Maples at New York’s Plaza Hotel, captured by photographer Dafydd Jones. Jones, who was assigned to photograph the event, recognized Epstein attending the wedding. The image, taken from a contact sheet as the original negatives were lost, shows Epstein in the background behind prominent guests like Howard Stern and Robin Leach.
Jones reportedly expressed a wish that he had taken more photos of Epstein with Trump at the event, underscoring the significance of Epstein’s presence. When questioned by CNN about this newly surfaced wedding photo, Trump dismissed the network as “fake news” several times before ending the call.
Further expanding the visual record of their connection, raw video footage from a 1999 Victoria’s Secret fashion show in New York has also been discovered by CNN’s KFile team. This footage depicts Trump and Epstein engaged in conversation prior to the runway event.
These new visuals add layers to the documented relationship between Trump and Epstein. Their connection has previously been highlighted through:
- Frequent appearances together at events in Palm Beach and New York.
- Multiple party photos.
- Shared flights, with Trump listed in Epstein’s flight logs at least seven times for travel between Palm Beach and New York.
- Flattering remarks made by Trump about Epstein.
- Trump’s 2002 statement in a New York Magazine profile calling Epstein “a terrific guy”, and adding, “It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side”.
- A reference in Trump’s own 2004 book, Trump: How To Get Rich, to a man he called “the mysterious Jeffrey,” noting, “As mysterious as Jeffrey is, he’s one of the few people I know who can get by on just a first name”.
Despite these connections, Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing and claims he severed ties with Epstein long before the financier’s legal troubles became public. Their relationship reportedly ended in the mid-2000s over a property dispute.

In related developments, the Wall Street Journal recently reported on a birthday message allegedly sent by Trump to Epstein in 2003 for his 50th birthday. The message reportedly featured an outline of a naked woman and concluded with “Happy Birthday—and may every day be another wonderful secret”. Trump has denied sending this message and is currently suing the US daily for at least $10 billion for defamation, alleging significant financial and reputational harm.
The renewed scrutiny on the Epstein case has also been fueled by Elon Musk’s public criticism of Donald Trump and his administration’s handling of the matter, demanding greater transparency. Musk has publicly questioned the official narrative surrounding Epstein’s death, mockingly stating, “Wow, I can’t believe Epstein killed himself before realising it was all a hoax”.
He has also used X’s AI tool, Grok, to inquire about potential electronic records of those who traveled on Epstein’s plane to the US Virgin Islands, and has criticized Trump’s past approach to controversies. Musk has repeatedly asked about “Phase 2” of “The Epstein File”. These comments contradict a joint memo from the US Department of Justice and the FBI, which concluded Epstein died by suicide in 2019 and denied the existence of a “client list”.
The Department of Justice has also reportedly reached out to Ghislaine Maxwell for a meeting regarding the release of sealed grand jury materials, with Maxwell’s lawyer stating she “will always testify truthfully” and expressing gratitude to President Trump for his “commitment to uncovering the truth”. Many within Trump’s MAGA movement are reportedly frustrated by delays in releasing important documents about Epstein’s helpers, which had been promised by Trump’s attorney general, Pam Bondi.
Epstein’s crimes became public in 2005, leading to his first arrest in 2006, and a subsequent arrest in 2019 for sex trafficking involving underage girls. He died in jail later that year, with the medical examiner ruling his death a suicide, though many continue to question this finding, leading to widespread conspiracy theories.
The resurfacing of these visuals and the ongoing discussions serve as a powerful magnifying glass on historical connections that continue to shape public perception, much like a newly excavated artifact sheds unexpected light on an ancient, thought-to-be-understood civilization.
