Breaking away from the traditional slapstick formula, Housefull 5 introduces a murder mystery set aboard a luxurious cruise ship. The narrative revolves around a 797-crore inheritance, three characters named “Jolly,” and a masked killer, blending humor with suspense. In a groundbreaking move for Indian cinema, the film features two alternate endings, meaning audiences might experience different conclusions depending on the screening they attend.

  • Filming Locations: The movie was shot over a 40-day schedule on a cruise ship, traveling from Newcastle to Spain, Normandy, Honfleur, and back to Plymouth.

  • Budget: With an estimated budget of ₹350 crore, Housefull 5 stands as one of the most expensive comedy films in Indian cinema.
