83rd Golden Globe Awards Nominations Unveiled: Celebrating Excellence in Film, Television, and Podcasts

Los Angeles, CA – On December 8, 2025, the nominations for the 83rd Annual Golden Globe Awards were revealed at The Beverly Hilton, with hosts Marlon Wayans and Skye P. Marshall leading the announcement.
This year’s selections honor outstanding achievements across film, television, and podcasting. The awards ceremony is set to broadcast live on January 11, 2026, from 8:00-11:00 PM ET (5:00-8:00 PM PT) on CBS, produced by Dick Clark Productions and reaching audiences in more than 185 countries. Votes were tallied by KPMG, ensuring a fair and transparent process.
Film Nominations: In the Motion Picture – Drama category, the nominees include Sentimental Value, Frankenstein, Hamnet, and Sinners.
For Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, the spotlight falls on One Battle After Another and Bugonia.
Directors recognized this year are Paul Thomas Anderson for One Battle After Another, Ryan Coogler for Sinners, Guillermo del Toro for Frankenstein, and Chloé Zhao for Hamnet.
In the Male Actor – Motion Picture, Drama category, Jeremy Allen White is nominated for Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, alongside Oscar Isaac for Frankenstein.
The Female Actor – Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy nominees feature Emma Stone for Bugonia and Timothée Chalamet for Marty Supreme.
Television Nominations: Turning to television, the Drama Series category includes The Diplomat, Severance, Slow Horses, and The White Lotus.
For Musical or Comedy Series, the nominees are Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Hacks, and Only Murders in the Building.
Podcast Nominations: In the emerging Best Podcast category, the contenders are Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, Call Her Daddy, and SmartLess.
