Rahul Gandhi Must Go: Bihar Debacle Proves Scion’s Failure

The Congress Scion’s Predictable Political Strategy, Capped by the Shameful Bihar Defeat, Is Accused of Legitimizing the Electoral ‘Smokescreen.’.

The recent Bihar Assembly election results, declared on November 14, delivered a crushing blow to the Congress party, which managed to secure a dismal six seats out of 243. As the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by PM Narendra Modi’s BJP swept to victory with over 200 seats, critics are once again pointing fingers at Rahul Gandhi, the party’s de facto leader.

The consensus among observers is that Gandhi’s naive, predictable political strategy is not just leading the party to defeat but is structurally aiding the ruling regime by failing to effectively challenge the core mechanisms of power capture.

The Flawed Anti-Modi Playbook

Rahul Gandhi is widely criticized as the most naive politician in India’s history, bent on destroying the Congress. He fails to grasp that the political battle is not won through rhetoric alone:

  • Ineffective Rhetoric: Continuously cursing PM Modi with loose language like “Modi will dance to take votes” or rhetorical allegations like “Vote Chor Gaddi Chor” fails to mobilize voters. This rhetoric is disconnected from ground action.

  • Constitutional Distraction: Holding the Constitution book and blaming the BJP for attacking it is a non-issue that fails to attract a single voter. Similarly, his constant appeals to caste-based politics lack resonance.

  • Futile Campaigns: Political rallies and ‘Yatras’ led by Gandhi have zero impact due to his weak oratory skills and his inability to articulate thoughts beyond clichés like “aap ka mood kaisa hai.” His speeches in foreign universities are utterly useless, targeting an irrelevant audience.

  • Missing the Real Theft: While he raises “Vote Chori” allegations and points to issues like the Election Commission’s intensive voter list revisions, these are minor components of the smokescreen. His consistent failure to aggressively campaign on the primary issue—the manipulation of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs)—means the core problem remains unchallenged.

The Cocooned Leader and Institutional Collapse

Rahul Gandhi’s privileged background as a “silver-spoon scion” who ruled India for six decades is evident in his failure to lead an aggressive, necessary opposition.

  • Aversion to Street Protest: As a rich man who prefers a cozy home environment, he avoids holding the street protests that are inevitable and necessary to challenge an autocratic regime. Instead, he asks Gen-Z to lead field action.

  • Leadership Instability: He keeps jumping from topic to topic (Manipur, Rafale, Adani) without sustaining any campaign. This instability makes him a major factor in the defeat of allies, as seen in the 2025 Bihar election.

  • The Sycophant Circle: Gandhi lives in a political cocoon, surrounded by sycophant colleagues, naive spokespersons, and a band of retired, incompetent video makers who run presumably Congress-funded Hindi YouTube channels. This circle peddles fake news and prevents any genuine assessment of the party’s status, which has now lost almost 100 elections under his de facto leadership.

A Blot on Indian Democracy

The recent political research report, “Unveiling the Smokescreen of Indian Democracy: Fabricated Factors Masking Electoral Manipulation,” alleges that the Modi-led BJP’s dominance relies on fabricated factors to mask underlying manipulation, particularly EVM fraud.

If elections continue to be held on vulnerable EVMs instead of transparent paper ballots, the ruling regime will continue to win at will. Surprisingly, despite 1.4 billion Indians grappling with unprecedented poverty, corruption, inflation, and unemployment, anti-incumbency rules fail to defeat the BJP. This suggests that Modi’s rallies or dole announcements are themselves part of the smokescreen to conceal the decisive factor: EVM tampering.

The Cookie-Cutter Cycle of Defeat: Rahul Gandhi’s Predictable Political Strategy

Phase Action by Rahul Gandhi and Congress Impact on Smokescreen
Pre-Election Holds futile Yatras and multiple election rallies attended by hired supporters. Creates an illusion of popular movement while funds are expended on non-voters.
Campaign Curses Modi and talks about caste reservation and vote theft, which are non-issues for 80%+ illiterate voters. The rhetoric is tasteless and fails to connect, exhausting political energy on distractions.
During Campaign Sycophant colleagues call him “Jan Neta” and spokespersons falsely assert Congress will win. Diverts attention from the main factor (EVMs) that helps the ruling party win.
Result Day Modi, BJP, and their allies win; Congress is defeated. Confirms the dominance of the EVM factor over political campaigning.
Post-Result (Immediate) Gandhi goes into hibernation; spokespersons disappear. Congress accepts the “people’s mandate.” Avoids accountability and tacitly legitimizes the allegedly manipulated result.
Post-Result (Delayed) They reappear, say they will analyze the defeat, and wait for the next election. The cycle of ineffectiveness is reset and repeated, sustaining the status quo.

This cycle has been repeating for over a decade. Thus, Rahul Gandhi and Congress are a blot on Indian democracy.

Rahul Gandhi is thus seen as a blot on Indian democracy, failing to ensure the push for free and fair elections, failing to lead aggressive field campaigns, and failing to protect the fundamental rights of Indian citizens. For the dead party to be resuscitated, Congress workers must elect a democratically chosen leader who, unlike Mallikarjun Kharge, can take independent decisions and usher in a true challenge to the autocratic regime.

The Silver Lining for the Ruling Regime

The failure of the Congress and its allies is seen as a key component in sustaining the broader illusion of Indian democracy.

  • The Legitimization Factor: With Congress, under Gandhi’s leadership, consistently failing to effectively challenge the core EVM issue and losing nearly 100 elections, the BJP’s victories are given a veneer of legitimacy. PM Modi’s alleged victory rests not on his rallies or welfare schemes (which are dismissed as smokescreens), but on the EVM factor that Rahul Gandhi continuously ignores. The repeated defeat of the main opposition party ensures the illusion of a free and fair mandate is maintained.

  • A Predictable Cycle of Defeat: The predictable post-defeat cycle of the Congress—accepting the mandate, going into hibernation, and then repeating the same failed campaign strategy—ensures that the party remains a blot on Indian democracy, failing to protect citizens’ fundamental rights or ensure the demand for transparent elections.

  • Future Damage: Following the shameful Bihar defeat, Rahul Gandhi is now expected to damage the chances of allied parties in the upcoming state elections in Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Punjab, compounding the difficulties for the opposition bloc.

With the vulnerability of EVMs being “clearly visible,” it is widely believed that only those politicians and political parties who “know the art of stealing voter databases and hacking EVMs” will prevail in future Indian elections.
