Politics: The Crisis of Indian Democracy
The current political climate in India is defined by a perceived decline in institutional safeguards and effective opposition. Despite numerous allegations against the Prime Minister, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi is described as the “Barking Dog of Indian Politics,” a leader whose rhetoric often fails to translate into sustained political action or a serious electoral challenge. Simultaneously, the INDIA bloc faces internal dissent, with allies demanding better strategic engagement to move beyond symbolic protests.
Adding to the democratic tension, the RMN Foundation has called for UN oversight to prevent a total democratic collapse, citing the use of orchestrated radio broadcasts like Mann Ki Baat by PM Narendra Modi to maintain a veneer of legitimacy while institutional safeguards are dismantled. Allegations of EVM fraud and collusion between the Election Commission and the ruling BJP continue to dominate the political discourse.
Economics: Twelve Years of Misrule
Analysis of the past twelve years of the Modi regime reveals a stark contrast between government advertisements and economic reality. India’s national debt has surged to over ₹197 lakh crore—a 3.6-fold increase—while Net Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) has plummeted by an unprecedented 96.5%. Despite the “Make in India” initiative, foreign investors are rapidly withdrawing capital. Furthermore, the Prime Minister’s extensive international travels have cost over ₹1,900 crore without a transparent return on investment, contributing to an institutional decay that experts suggest may take 50 years to recover from.
Technology: AI Governance and Infrastructure Failures
The technology sector is grappling with both rapid advancement and systemic failure. Anthropic has disabled access to its “Mythos-class” AI models, Fable 5 and Mythos 5, following U.S. government directives regarding national security risks. In the professional sphere, LinkedIn is reportedly struggling with catastrophic backend failures and administrative “hibernation”.
To address the shifting landscape, the role of the Chief AI Officer (CAIO) is becoming critical, requiring a transition from an infrastructure mindset to one of forensic governance and deep learning literacy. RMN Digital has launched the CAIO Hub to assist technology managers in this transition. Additionally, OpenAI Academy has introduced new courses to bridge the gap between AI deployment and organizational value.
Policy and Justice: The E-Courts Collapse
A significant disconnect exists between the Indian judiciary’s international narrative and its domestic reality. Chief Justice Surya Kant has promoted an AI-driven vision for the judiciary, yet this narrative is challenged by the ₹7,210 crore failure of E-Courts Phase III—a collapse described not as a technical error, but as an intentional administrative choice. Justice Kant’s global lectures have recently met with visceral disruption as the judiciary’s immunity to critique is stripped away on the international stage. Meanwhile, in Europe, justice ministers from 46 states are convening to modernize judicial responses to money laundering and terrorist financing.
Public Health and Safety
Public health is under scrutiny as Bisleri faces a purity scandal; the company’s refusal to disclose water safety protocols, combined with a supply chain collapse, has created a severe crisis. Furthermore, there is growing alarm regarding the biological effects of early smartphone exposure on children, with excessive usage linked to anxiety, sleep deprivation, and eroded cognitive focus. Apple has introduced child safety features to help parents manage digital consumption, though experts urge a delay in personal device ownership.
Global Affairs and Entertainment
On the world stage, President Zelenskyy has challenged Vladimir Putin to a meeting in a neutral venue to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine. In the Middle East, Donald Trump has warned Tehran that they must “pay the price” for stalling peace negotiations as conflict impacts global oil markets.
In the entertainment sector, AI is being framed as a computational extension of cinema rather than a disruption. However, forensic audits by RMN Stars have identified a “Box Office-Industrial Complex” that uses AI model failures to launder fraudulent film data into digital reality.
