CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA — Apple has announced the upcoming launch of Apple Business, a comprehensive all-in-one platform designed to help companies of all sizes manage their operations, devices, and brand identity. Scheduled for release on April 14, the platform will be available in more than 200 countries and regions.

A Unified Solution for Business Growth: The new platform integrates several key services into a single interface, aimed at simplifying IT management and fostering collaboration. Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Enterprise and Education Marketing, described the move as a “significant leap forward,” noting that the company has “unified Apple’s strongest business offerings into one simple, secure platform”.

Key Features and Capabilities: Apple Business introduces several core tools to streamline business workflows:

  • Built-in Mobile Device Management (MDM): Organizations can now gain a comprehensive view of their Apple devices and settings. The platform utilizes “Blueprints” to allow for zero-touch deployment, ensuring that new devices are ready for use immediately out of the box with preconfigured apps and security settings.
  • Professional Productivity Tools: For the first time, Apple is offering fully integrated business email, calendar, and directory services. Businesses can purchase or bring their own custom domain names to elevate their professional identity and use new scheduling tools like calendar delegation.
  • Brand and Location Management: Tools previously found in Apple Business Connect are now integrated here. Companies can manage how their brand appears across Apple services, including Apple Maps, Wallet, and Siri, and gain insights into customer interactions through location data.
  • Secure Collaboration: The platform supports Managed Apple Accounts, which keep company data secure while maintaining employee privacy through the cryptographic separation of work and personal data.

Transition and Pricing: Upon its launch, Apple Business will be a free service for both new and existing users of Apple’s previous enterprise tools. The platform effectively replaces Apple Business Essentials, Apple Business Manager, and Apple Business Connect, which will no longer be available as standalone services. Notably, existing Business Essentials customers will cease to be charged monthly service fees for device management after the April 14 launch.

Technical Requirements: To utilize the new companion app and its integrated communication features, devices must be running iOS 26, iPadOS 26, or macOS 26. While the core service is free, Apple continues to offer paid upgrades for additional iCloud storage and dedicated support via AppleCare+ for Business.
